A three-day event for Porcelaingres including their German factory tour, headquarter of the company, and several corporate dinners with clients and executive.

The client

Porcelaingres is one of Europe’s most modern factories dedicated to the production of unglazed porcelain tiles, wall tiles and flooring. The headquarter of the company is in Germany, but it is also part of the Iris Ceramica Group and have a factory in Castellarano, Italy, a key location in the most important ceramic district in the world, the one of Sassuolo.

Genius Progetti was chosen by the management of Porcelaingres because of its know-how in the event management and organization. Moreover, we were chosen for our ability to ensure that guests feel welcomed and are well cared for: true Italian hospitality.

A new product launch: factory tour and dinners

Collaboration is exactly what was used for the Porcelaingres event, which was cited as “one of the best factory tours ever” from a long-standing client.

International clientele from all over the world attended this new product launch featuring a full factory tour, product demonstrations, collateral activities, and full hospitality package including gourmet corporate dinners and cocktails.

Our work for the event

The event was designed in such a way that Porceliangres had ownership of the overall concept and preliminary client management and Genius Progetti was relied on for concept support including graphic design, settings, management and organization of client dinners and logistics during the three-day event.

  • Client Transportation: with 350 guests arriving internationally, shuttle service was a key element in the VIP treatment guests received over the 3-day event;
  • VIP Dinners: the guests including architects, industrial designers, edil companies as well as re-sellers, executive and sales staff and key contacts were involved in two dinners, including a privatized dinner cruise;
  • Communications and Graphic Design: our in-house graphic and creative department took care of all the aspects of communication and marketing materials in 5 languages;
  • On-site Client Management: hostess service, client registration, welcome desk and info points were all managed by Genius Progetti throughout the event;
  • Team Management: team Management is what we’re good at! We bring a multitude of tried and tested suppliers to our client to create the best event possible.
