Our client wanted to celebrate the history and success of the brand with an exclusive event in Milan, Italy. Genius Progetti was entrusted of the whole organization of a gala dinner party including the creation and projection of custom videos made of photo and video of selected footage captured throughout the brand’s existence.

This gala evening was organized in an industrial complex equipped with a huge stage for a live performance. In fact, the evening schedule was created by Genius Progetti to include:

  • welcome reception;
  • custom memorial videos;
  • served three-course dinner;
  • executive speeches;
  • live band with professional dance performance;
  • cake cutting ceremony;
  • open bar and after dinner dj and dancing.

Guest welcoming and management

The location was outfitted with a complete kitchen meant for the Italian caterer, a full audio and video setup including a stage for the 15 people live show, over 100 tables as well as a cocktail and lounge reception area.

Guests were accompanied to this exclusive location directly from their hotel rooms and arrived in small groups. They were welcomed with a champagne cocktail at the reception and then guided to their color-coded seating area where they were hosted by their regional manager. Dinner was prepared fresh on-site and served by the impressive wait staff.

Our work for the event

An event of this grandeur requires 100% professional and dedicated staff, especially because our client’s entire European base of prospects and executive staff was invited.

  • Location: scouting, rental agreement, technical assessment, technical layout and 3-D renders;
  • Permits & Security: building permits, security plan, security on-site pre and during event, author rights, parking permits and public land permits;
  • Print Graphics: development of event logo and subsequent printed marketing and signage materials;
  • Concept & Entertainment: show concept design, talent scout and booking, creation of memorial videos during gala dinner (from concept to creation), live stream speeches and cake ceremony;
  • Food & Beverage: caterer scouting, menu testing and creation, on-site full kitchen for over 100 kitchen personnel. Management of all food and beverage service including wait staff, cocktail and special dietary need requests;
  • Front of House Direction & Audio/Visual Management: complete set-up of sound reinforcement system and lighting control. Our management includes multiple sound and technical checks and complete technical run-throughs including live event production management;
  • Hospitality: scouting and management of hosting staff, client gift creation and distribution and post-event taxi service management;
  • Set-up and take down: our competent and professional staff developed the comprehensive technical layout for this space and within 4 days the stage build, furniture layout, kitchen creation and all other aspects of layout and interior design were completed. Our lighting, audio and build staff were able to dismount the entire space in one night.
