Inkiostro Bianco presented its 2016/2017 wallpaper collection. For their exhibition stand we designed an iconic space characterized by a modern Renaissance style.
The client
Inkiostro Bianco is a leader in the wallpaper industry. The brand works with a team of artists, graphic designers and designers in continuous synergy with each other. The company produces over 400 different graphics on vinyl paper, EQ Dekor and canvas, fabrics suitable for the decoration of every surface.

Renaissance: the exhibit stand of Inkiostro Bianco at Cersaie
Inkiostro Bianco explores the world of art mixing drawings and digital art to create original wallpapers with a strong personality. The brand creates emotional wallpapers that transform surfaces into avant-garde pieces. These features make it unique, that’s why we have created an extravagant concept, different from any other.
The project, entitled “Renaissance”, aimed to reinterpret the Renaissance times in a modern way. The choice fell on this period because it is one of the most daring in history in terms of decorations, just like in the style of Inkiostro Bianco.
A design between ancient and modern
The trade show booth, designed to participate in Cersaie in 2016, was definitely innovative for what concerned design and decorations. Given the large size, we opted for a light and airy structure. The space was sufficient for the realization of three different areas, in which we reproduced three Renaissance living rooms.
However, we have included pop and cinematographic influences to give greater contemporaneity to the entire project.
LED and neon lights combined with Renaissance decorations
The highlight of the exhibition stand was represented by the ceilings of the three living rooms. Our idea was to customize the fabric ceilings with images of Renaissance ceilings, highlighting the details with LED lights. Even the sign with the Inkiostro Bianco logo was made of neon filament to emphasize the contrast between ancient and modern times.
The interior of the trade show booth was personally furnished by the Inkiostro Bianco designers with wallpapers of their production from the 2016/2017 collection and furnishings of their own.
