Design and building of a multi-room exhibition stand to represent all the different product lines of the client for an international trade show in Bologna.
The client
Ceramica Cleopatra Group, based in Egypt, has undergone significant international growth making it one of the largest private corporations in the Middle East with over 17 production facilities and 25,000 employees. The group, including four different companies, is an important player in the ceramic, porcelain wall, sanitary and floor tile industries. With their Italian-inspired designs, they have accumulated an impressive number of clients in over 100 countries worldwide.

Custom stand concept design for Cersaie
The Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings, is indisputably the most important exhibition internationally for the ceramic industry. With over 110,000 visitors annually and almost a thousand journalists from around the world, it has become the main platform of new business generation for thousands of companies.
Due to the importance of the fair, our client, the Ceramica Cleopatra Group, asked us to design a custom exhibition stand to attract and engage the public.
Exhibition stand concept: “The Golden House”
Our designer and expert planner came up with an opulent space that perfectly represented the decadence of the ceramic tile and porcelain furnishing collections of the client. We have called this design: “The Golden House”.
The entrance ring was in laminated abet in brushed gold with all rooms visible from the exterior of the stand through transparent crystal walls. A delicate thousand-thread chandelier met guests with soft diffuse lighting as they entered “The Golden House”. Inside they found a multi-room layout with each room representing a different line from the Ceramica Cleopatra Group collection.
