Custom design of an exhibition stand
Cersaie, Bologna
Over the years, our collaboration with Smaltochimica has seen the design and construction of numerous exhibition stands for various ceramic industry fairs. To participate in the 2014 and subsequent editions of the International Ceramics Exhibition for Architecture and Bathroom Furniture, Cersaie, the company turned to us again.
The management’s desire was to create a stand that would highlight the characteristics of innovation and technical knowledge that distinguish the company. To meet these needs we have developed an original and modern concept that we have called “The Lab”.
Inside the stand, which can be accessed from two sides, a large LED wall has been inserted which largely covered the wall opposite the main entrance. The LED wall was the undisputed star of this relax and lounge area. Here, in fact, was the bar counter, chairs and tables where visitors could meet the staff of Smaltochimica.
Furthermore, both entrances were surmounted by a luminous sign bearing the company logo on a red background, the brand’s main color.
Originally, “The Lab” involved the use of materials such as iron and wood, but for subsequent re-editions, starting in 2015, we chose to build the stand with lighter and more modern materials, more suited to the concept conceived. Alucobond panels, ie composite aluminum, and aluminum finishes were therefore chosen. Everything was supported by a white frame.
The construction and takedown of the stand in the Cersaie pavilion, followed closely by our team members, took a total of about 10 days. These are rather short times for a large stand.
