Contact usGenius Progetti has recently joined the Club degli Eventi, the representative body of the best Italian agencies specialized in the creation of events and live communication.
After joining the #ItaliaLive campaign, conceived and promoted by the club to raise awareness among institutions and companies about the difficulties of the events sector during the pandemic, we are proud to also support the Ethical Pact to restart the events industry.
With the Ethical Pact, the Club of Events and Live Communication has created a proposal in 6 points to improve the agency-client relationship and facilitate the recovery of the events industry. The pact was presented in collaboration with ADC Group on July 1st in Milan.
The campaign uses irony to raise awareness on key issues that want to rethink the relationship between supply and demand, between agencies and client companies:
1.Limit the number of agencies bidding on the same project by inviting a reduced number to compete based on relevant credentials, past case histories, meetings and current rapport;
2.Share clear and exhaustive briefs (objectives, defined budgets, adequate times for the work to be carried out, objective evaluation criteria declared during the tender);
3.Limit the number of competing agencies to 3 participants;
4.Request a rework only from the agency assigned the tender;
5.Recognize a refund (1% of the budget) for participation in tenders;
6.Anticipate all costs necessary for the realization of the event.
The message that the Ethical Pact wants to communicate is to understand and respect the value of creativity and services that event agencies make available to their clients. The 6 points proposed by the pact are intended to be a guide to define a correct relationship on both sides.
Our agency fully supports this vision. We are convinced that for a restart of the industry, after the significant drop it recorded in 2020, it is necessary to establish clear rules shared by all.
