Project Co-Ordinator for Germany and Switzerland

Job description

We are looking for Project Managers to join our team in Sassuolo, Italy mainly for projects and events in Germany and Switzerland but with some responsibilities in other areas of Europe.

Project Co-ordinators at Genius Progetti S.p.a. have a key role in co-ordinating complex projects for different clients throughout Europe including live performances, corporate events or the production of trade show and exhibition stands.

This is a temporary 10-month contract with the possibility of a full-time position upon review. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is positive, motivated and willing to travel internationally in order to best manager our international client events.

You will be working as a direct support to the Client Account Managers and Senior Client Account Mangers to assist them in exceeding our clients expectations by providing support for every step of the project life cycle. Co-ordinators benefit from an rigorous and extensive mentoring program to truly assist in your growth within Genius Progetti.

As a Genius Progetti S.p.a. Project Co-ordinator you are responsible for ownership of key steps in the preparation and execution of events from on-site management, hostess co-ordination, security procurement, project brief creation, location scouting, contract negotiations and review, pricing and budget reporting, budget control, material development and management as well as other duties related to the event.

At Genius Progetti you will find yourself as an important member of a team in our head office location, this “nucleus” is where your creativity can truly shine and we encourage your to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions.

You’ll be working with the CEO, Creative Director and Technical/Graphic Designer to develop layouts, project concepts and build brief for the build team. This is a role that requires you to also manage the location staff, suppliers for all components (flowers, décor, audio/visual technicians/entertainers/permits etc), so organization and positivity are KEY!

As a co-ordinator you are in charge of planning and delivering each task – from strategy to design, from prototyping to final deployment – ensuring timely completion within budget and against agreed objectives.

You will build and manage on-going relationships with clients, always demonstrating a consultation-oriented approach. You are also responsible for internal and external project resources, acting as team leader and ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.

We are looking for candidates with solid experience in project co-ordination, excellent organisational skills and problem-solving abilities. Ambition, energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, operational autonomy, proactivity and a strong passion for the digital world are essential characteristics of this role.


  • Academic background in subjects related to Marketing and Communication, Client Relations or Project Management (appreciated but not required).
  • Knowledge of main project management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of event planning and management.
  • Passionate about excellence in every output delivered.
  • Able to create great project presentations and documents or the willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and the flexibility to learn other tools
  • Able to manage a team with different skills and deployed in different Genius Progetti project locations
  • Willingness to travel between 5 and 15 days per month to Germany and Switzerland (primarily) with some travel to other European locations occasionally
  • Able to be compliant with project timings and costs.
  • Able to capture/interpret environment (media, customers, industry) and customers’ needs, and transform them into innovative ideas and proposals.
  • EXCELLENT proficiency in GERMAN and ENGLISH (written and spoken) is fundamental
  • Good proficiency in Italian is a nice to have but not necessary
  • Candidates with high French proficiency or mother-tongue German capabilities will be preferred

Technical Manager for stand design

GENIUS PROGETTI is looking for someone who has gained technical experience in the design of exhibition stands.

This person will have to interface with the Company’s technical/creative department, alongside senior staff involved in the design and construction of exhibition stands and event set-ups.

Our company deals with the design and construction of fair stands and “live show” design, exhibitions and showrooms. We are looking for a passionate, talented figure in the creative and technical development of solutions in the field of exhibition design.

He has a critical conscience, architectural and figurative culture. Advanced technical ability in the field of architectural design and representation. He is interested in exploring the client’s business philosophy and developing projects that can interpret it, always paying close attention to the requirements imposed by construction and budget logic. He will also have to interface with the graphics office, with the internal production and with the commercial in the processing of the request, carry out the project according to the needs of the customer and of the trade fair regulation and make the relative modifications until the execution of the executive.

Completing the profile: resistance to stress, problem solving and willingness to travel, excellent communication and relationship skills, client orientation, dynamism and proactivity, as well as an excellent predisposition to interpersonal relationships and teamwork.

Workplace: Sassuolo (MO)
Type of Contract: Fixed-term contract with employment purpose + meal vouchers. Long-term prospects (direct entry into the company).
Working Hours: Full Time (Mon – Fri)


  • Technical Diploma (Surveyor) and/or Degree in Architecture/and/or Industrial Design Course
  • Preferable previous experience (including internship) in the technical office
  • Preferable previous experience in stand/planning and implementation (stand builder, carpenter)
  • 2D and 3D CAD knowledge, preferably archicad
  • Dynamism and creativity
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of English
  • If possible: Knowledge of other programs GAMMA ADOBE, Artlantis
  • If possible: Knowledge of German and/or Arabic and/or French

Multi Lingual Hostess Excellent opportunity to Travel All Over Europe

Job description

Are you fluent in 3 or more European Languages?
Would you love to be a part of a dynamic team and travel all over Europe?

We are looking for 2 tri-lingual hostesses/stewards to join us for 25 different events in 2019 all throughout Europe.

You are a well-organized person, excited about traveling and being part of our customer care team as a multi-lingual hostess.  You speak English fluently plus at least 2 of the following languages:

  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Italian

This is a temporary 11-month contract from February 2019 – December 2019, with the possibility of a full-time position upon review.

An out of the box position perfect for recent graduates, a competitive monthly salary is offered along with all hotel and travel costs.  This is a full time position requiring 80% of international European travel from either the main Milan Airports or Bologna Airport.

Candidates are required to be absolutely autonomous with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to self manage the details of their work related travels from booking hotels, car rentals and flights to punctuality, arriving to airport and events on time and with all relevant documents. You must have a valid EU passport and Identity card, a valid European driving licence and preferably access to your own vehicle if necessary or be willing to drive a rental car when needed.

Genius Progetti is searching for a multi-lingual hostess/steward to join us for 20 – 25 events in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland from February to December 2019.

This position is anything but a desk job, candidates will be the primary point of contact for VIP clients at events such as galas, dinners, exhibitions etc.  Once on-site your professional presence will serve to improve the experience of clients through your knowledge of program details and your availability to assist customers in everything from event registration, coat check, information desk, survey management, concierge, travel arrangements and transfer management etc.


  • Academic or professional background in languages / customer care / hospitality / traveling
  • Experience as a model / hostess or steward
  • Passion for luxury products such as luxury consumer goods and automobiles
  • Willingness to travel 80% of the time
  • Ability to deal with a complex and full calendar of events – excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Fluent in English + 2 other European languages (preference will be given to German, French, Spanish and Italian speakers)
  • Able handle stressful situations autonomously with a high level of tact and sensitivity towards the client’s needs / requests
